6C's potluck gathering at Yan Yin's house yesterday was great! It's actually sort of like a farewell for Yan Yin and Lanfang who are going Toronto and Beijing respectively, but it was quite 温馨 and funny.
After a brief tour of Yan Yin's very nice house by her really cute little sister, Fan Di, Shiyan and I hid ourselves in Yan Yin's sister's music room to complete the photo albums for our two 主角. The photos had been put together on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the captions for Yan Yin's album was done on Friday so we had to come up with interesting captions for Lanfang's album. Gosh, my creativity level is really low! Glad some turned out pretty funny! After dinner, we disappeared to our hideout again to arrange the messages from the class together with the photos and slot everything in before joining everyone back in Yan Yin's room.
Yan Yin let us try vodka during dinner. It's 20% alcoholic [is that high or low??] and of a really pretty pink colour which makes it look deceivingly like fruit punch. 说实话,是可以感觉到有点烈,可是还可以 tahan. Small sips are fine. 我是不知道我酒量如何啦,可是还挺喜欢少量酒精微烈的味道。问题是,脸会红。=| We ended up mixing vodka with green tea and the taste was like my herbal nail polish remover. =X
We were "interrogating" TerenceP about how he got together with his girlfriend and I suggested a Circle of Trust...which got turned against me after he answered most of our questions. I wasted a lot of time telling them anything but who he is, until I felt bad for wasting so much time...
We finally left at 11plus so that those who are not sharing cab home won't miss the last bus. Midnight cabbing is nightmare!!!
双手拇指和食指的指甲彩绘已经毁坏不堪,所以我断然将他们清除[4 fingers cost S$4 leh]... 然后,又自行涂上新的颜色。可怜的指甲,你的主人真是连让你透透气的机会都不给!Not bad lah, dark red base with glittery top coat, but it will only last until I get black base...
One last week before school opens!!! I'm not done packing my room yet... =X I have absolutely no idea what to pack for moving in...
Went back to office just now for lunch session with current CND scholars and big bosses. Didn't talk much as usual, but had fun listening to seniors share their experiences. Going overseas, be it for degree course or exchange or internship, is so interesting! Shall work hard for good results to qualify for exchange in Year 2 and build up my courage to go further for internship... I keep "discovering" things I need to improve but I see no improvement cuz I have no idea how to...
