BTW is anyone aware of a local alternative rock band called Allura? Anyone interested in going for their performance at Timbre@The Substation on 19 August night? I'm still considering whether or not I wanna go... Anyway, do not ask about my sudden interest... If you already know, SHH... Haha total random-ness...

3 days after our very first OG outing, we had our second Linguine ice-cream outing at Velocity's Haagen Dazs, thanks to the $100 vouchers from Starry Starry Night! I think that was my first time at Haagen Dazs perhaps. The first and last time I tried Haagen Dazs was on SIA flight. =P

We were scheduled to meet at Novena MRT at 1pm but I reached at 12.40pm cuz I was in Toa Payoh Central since 10am to convert my bank accounts/bankbooks/ATM cards. Saw a SPH intern who is my colleague's friend and my friend's colleague at DBS, and I actually said Hi. He looked quite stunned. I am unusually friendly to people I don't have to be friendly to and unusually cold to people I should be friendly to. Grr...

Anyway, at approximately 1.30pm, less than 10 of us were there so we moved on to Velocity Haagen Dazs. Our reservations took up nearly the entire shop and we kept shifting tables around to extend our "table". We ordered a waffle thing for the early birds and waited until 2plus for more people to join us before we ordered fondues. Fondues are...interesting. Sorry lah, people suagu lah... A random mention of marshmallows during the fondue session reminded me of our notorious 火烧 marshmallows during chalet BBQ last time. I miss 火烧-ing marshmallows!!! It might be carcinogenic though, especially the ones made by yours truly. =P

I find possible KBOX buddies in SCI!!! Mandarin pop rox, so do oldies!!! Although Candy and Hui Ling don't look cheena, they are actually into Mandarin pop. Hui Ling likes Elva Hsiao too!!! *Applaud our excellent taste!* We realized we both love 最熟悉的陌生人 and we burst into the song, among many other songs which followed, right in Haagen Dazs and then again at Novena MRT on our way to Cineleisure to meet the rest.

Anyway, we went to this place at Cineleisure Level 9 which I never knew existed and "开房"! -.- We booked a gaming room[?] and started talking and playing 改版-Taboo. That game got us quite high trying to sabo people into blurting out what they are not supposed to say! I'm not bad eh, never tio at all!

虽然我爱唱K，我其实并不适合唱K。唱K时每次都没感情的！＊闷＊Spontaneously 唱的时候反而还不错！尤其是最熟悉的陌生人...

我喜欢过的人，对我而言，都是最熟悉的陌生人。因为喜欢，自然更想了解他们，却总没勇气主动认识。他们永远是陌生人，却如此的熟悉。虽然不曾爱过，却仍能感受到那种”最熟悉的陌生人“的无奈。

一个人怎么能又主动又那么孬？
I always like to add people on MSN but I rarely initiate conversations. I do want to talk to people, but when I have no idea how to initiate a conversation, I'll feel damn awkward and all the more unwilling to initiate the conversation. Thank you, to those who started talking to me. Sorry, to those whom I was unable to open up to and seemed rather cold. I didn't mean to actually. I think I sort of deter people from talking to me, sometimes. =( I'm actually more outgoing online than in person, so imagine how hard it is for me to open up in person.
我怀疑自己是否有点自闭... =P

Anyway, did a little practical shopping today. Black jeans and 2 belts. One of the belt has a guitar-shaped buckle! Nice~
