COM201 mid-term quiz was not satisfactory.
I didn't do that badly.
It was just relatively not good enough, not good at all.
Average is 73.9 and highest is 95.
I tend towards the average, which makes me below average among the above average.
I know, I know, my standards have been dropping since quite some time ago, but personal expectations remain high.
Someday I'll be back, haha, but I have no idea when.
My focus and priority have changed so much in JC.
Need to veer back to the right track!

Jing Ting got notified for this Saturday's Radio 1003 Fight Club competition! I shall go support her! It's at Northpoint, so it isn't too far. Thank goodness she's not going for the Compasspoint one. Jiayou! DJ competition is so cool lah... If only I can speak properly... Haha

Dinnertime is approaching, which reminds me of the issue about eating alone.
Some people enjoy the peace and solitariness when eating alone. Some cannot tahan eating alone.

I'm both, depending on situation and mood.
However, what do you do when you have to eat alone?
Just eat alone? Eat somewhere where you are really alone? Don't eat?
I'm the kind who will go somewhere else and eat all alone. When I first started out in WB, I was the first intern there during that period and I found it really weird eating with all the other journalists. Not that they are all that intimidating, in fact they are quite nice. Somehow I'll end up getting take-away, 7-Eleven sandwiches usually, back to eat in the almost-empty office. When the NP interns started coming in, I finally had people to go to lunch with! And they are really nice people to hang out with. =)

The NP interns are leaving for Wuhan tomorrow and will only be back in Jan 2009. Bon voyage! Have fun, take care, see you! =)

Lecture this morning was entertaining!
Nope, the lecturer wasn't entertaining; we were self-entertaining. Erm, people reading this might not find these funny, but we found it hilarious at that moment anyway.

This one is a whole series of conversation, so I shall just summarize it. Basically we were arguing about whether or not caterpillars are considered insects. Cause of argument is cuz insects are supposed to have 6 legs but caterpillars apparently had more than that. I'm the one who insists what caterpillars are indeed insects, cuz there's no way they can cross class right??? If anyone knows the solution to our solution, you are welcome to persuade us.
Following that, Shiyan and I came up with a sequel combining caterpillar and the a-gi-gi nightmare. Err very hard to describe our conversation. It's just freaking hilarious. XD

Woo-hoo! Looking to COM205 tutorial tomorrow! I have no more speech to make until Week 9. Actually now I wished I kena the first group to speak. It's really nerve-wrecking watching everyone speak and noting how good they are, or at least, better than me. Oh whatever, no more stress until Week 9, or slightly before that when I have to start preparing my next speech. I had sudden inspiration that day, but I couldn't decide. I'm thinking of doing "Laughter", but I'm not sure if I should do fatal hilarity or Laughter as a connection. Suggestions welcome! X)

We [Shiyan+Fan Di+Sie Yen+me] are going for NTU MAF at Yunnan Garden [OK, actually they don't call it MAF but never mind]! Hope it will be fun! But cannot be as fun as HC MAF =P Cuz HC got Huang Cheng generations! Woo-hoo!

I have this habit recently, of starting a post once I get back and work on it all the way until I go to sleep. So even though the post time is 4:45pm, it's already 10pm as I'm typing this line.

Went for eye check-up today. Degrees increased by around 50 degrees, advised to update my spectacles. Yeah and boo; yeah for possible new specs and boo for money to make new specs. My degrees are quite high, and my eye pressure is on the high side too. Warned that I'm at the risk of weak retina, advised to go for retina check-up lest it worsens and results in bleeding. Sounds serious. Hope I remember to go. Aiya, my eyes very pressurized cuz they are going to be examined mah. The person sprayed a gust of air into my eyes to check the pressure lah. No idea how it works. Something is wrong with my eyes. My right eye has been really itchy these 2 days and I've been rubbing it subconsciously while sleeping last night. It seems more "inside" now leh, looks weird. Eeks, looking forward to having a good rest at home this weekend.
