Sometimes, procrastination works. I wanted to send out my fee-paying exchange application long ago. Due to some things and others plus lots of procrastination, I have yet to do so.
But today, I found out that there is a new application form which requires some items not mentioned in the form I had. OMG thank goodness I have not sent my application over to Taiwan. If not I would have to start all over again, cuz back then I did not think of making back-up duplicates. Remind me to make duplicates before sending them out.
I realized I have been so hopeful about this whole exchange thing. Optimism is good. Being hopeful keeps me going. The glimmer of hope, however faint, motivates me to continue. It dawned on me at random times that it is very likely that I might not get it. What will I do if I end up not being able to go? But I refuse to give up, let go or loosen up.
