Finally done with the medical check up and two vaccination jabs!

The medical check shows that I'm surprisingly healthy. I'm not super healthy, but I expected myself to be more unhealthy. My blood pressure is in healthy range, my cholesterol level is pretty low, the only problem is my dental health. Let's not talk about it. =X

Met up with Audrey, Fon Ping, Michelle and Stephanie at NUS for lunch after I got my medical report.

Going cycling with Shiyan, Sie Yen and Fan Di tomorrow! I must learn how to cycle on my own before Jessie they all come next week!

Finally, Jessie, 綠茶, Vivi, 凱樂 and 綠茶's sister will be here next Tuesday. Omg, so gan jiong about the booth booking... We just asked SCI's Ms S. Ng to help us with the booking yesterday. Hope nothing goes wrong. The next week will be packed, until 2 Feb, while Sie Yen and I bring them around Singapore and do filming for their FYP.

After they return on 2 Feb, I have a 麻辣火鍋 dinner to look forward to on 4 Feb, with Terence, Fan Di, Shiyan, Jing Ting, Simin, Kia Mian and Lan Fang! I love 麻辣! Can't wait to eat more 麻辣 in Taiwan!

Speaking of Taiwan, part 1 of my timetable is out. I have 6 modules now - 基礎採訪寫作 Basic News Reporting and Writing、基礎新聞編輯 Basic News Editing、英文新聞編譯 English News Translation、傳播法規輿倫理 Communication Law and Ethics、分類報道訊息研究-公民新聞 Specialized Reporting & Writing - Studies of Citizen Journalism,和近代哲學議題:自我輿主體性 Issues in Modern Philosophy: Self and Subjectivity. I intend to drop the last Philosophy module, although I am interested in that. I just think my brain cannot handle Philosophy, and there are other modules I still want to take. I am both glad and sad that all the modules I got are Communication modules. I was hoping I can take some Taiwan-related modules, such as 台灣史 History of Taiwan, 民國史專題 Special Topics on the R.O.C, 台灣近代政治史專題 Special Topics on Political History in Modern Taiwan, and 近現代台灣大眾文化史 The History of the Popular Culture in the Modern Taiwan. How can I not make use of this opportunity to learn more about Taiwan? Too bad I did not get those modules. I guess I can try again during add/drop, but there is a limit to how many modules I can take. Too many modules, too little time! I do want to match Communication modules, so it's not too bad either. Second round of registration will take place on Monday. I'm still hoping to get some Taiwan-related modules, GER-PE or sports modules.
