We were still in Taichung, and 綠茶's aunt prepared breakfast for us. There was 米粉羹、肉羹 and 米糕. Really 古早味 breakfast, different from what I usually have for breakfast. The plan for the day was cycling! As most of you probably know, I only cycled once, and not too successfully. Basically, I cannot cycle. So I had to ride double bikes with the rest. 綠茶's sister came with us as well. She was supposed to ride this automatic scooter and hold the boom mike while they filmed, but I think they changed their mind about using the boom mike and she rode a normal bike with us as well.

Poor Vivi had to ride double bike with me on the 後豐(豐原-后里)route. She's so small-sized and I'm so big-sized, so it was quite tiring for her to balance the double bike because the 龍頭 was really heavy. I didn't dare to peddle too hard as well because I was afraid of upsetting the balance. We could barely cycle up-slope so we mainly walked the bike up. Halfway along the route, 綠茶 took over. I started to get the hang of cycling and was able to help with the cycling.

I think we didn't complete the route. We turned back so that we can go on the other route from 豐原 to 東勢(東豐). If I did not remember wrongly, both routes used to be train tracks, which were then converted into cycling routes. This time, I rode back with Vivi and it was easier this time round. We rested for awhile at the start of the routes before departing for the 東豐 route.

I rode with 綠茶's sister on the 東豐 route until our filming destination - the bridge. 凱樂 filmed Sie Yen's part first. Sie Yen is a beginner at cycling as well, but at least she can ride on her own. Heheh. After that, it was my turn! This time, Jessie had to ride with me and it was even more difficult because she was not very good at balancing the double bike too. Lucky she only had to cycle with me for the length of the bridge. After the bridge, I think I rode with 凱樂, all the way until the tunnel. It's fun cycling in a tunnel! 綠茶's sister went a little too far ahead and we decided to turn back halfway through the tunnel because we were quite tired. (I didn't dare to complain about being tired - I really wasn't too tired anyway - because those riding double bike with me were much more tired than I should be.)

After cycling, we went singing! Woo-hoo! We went to this garden-style KTV in Taichung, which was unlike our Kbox. Much cheaper, and of totally different feel. The room is really big, and there is no need to buy food or drinks from them as well. 綠茶 they all prepared drinks though, but stupid me didn't bring a water bottle to Taiwan so I did not have my own water. My throat became damn dry after awhile, and I didn't even sing my 王妃! It was partly because the rest (other than Jessie, Sie Yen and me) were smoking. Well, they have their rights. It's just uncomfortable because we were in an enclosed space. KTV in Taiwan is an interesting experience! I still prefer Singapore KTV, but it's really too expensive. I should go try Bbox and Teo Heng.

That night we went back to 綠茶's house. 綠茶's mum generously prepared beef steak for us, but! Sie Yen and I cannot eat beef. So we had baked cod fish and squid with black pepper sauce instead. I didn't know squid can be cooked like this! We had corn soup and garlic bread to go with the "main course" too. Later that night, we had 泥鰍 soup! 泥鰍 sounds scary eh? That's mud skipper actually. It's actually like fish when cooked. I'm not very fond of fish, but this is ok because the taste is not too fishy. Hahah food in Taiwan is so nice to talk about!

I think that's all for Day 3! I think it's getting boring reading my posts on Taiwan? I'm getting tired of writing actually, because I'm simply recalling every single details. Hope you have fun reliving my Taiwan experience through my words! Nah, don't think my writing is that powerful lah. =P

未完。待續。
