Oh no! Last complete day in Taiwan! NO~~~

Finally, we are going to school! It was raining in the morning, indicating that this was going to be a cold cold day. In addition to our many layers of shirts and outerwear, we even wore leggings beneath our 棉褲, whereas Jessie wore leggings only. 姐姐真的有練過喔! Add scarf and gloves to the whole 裝備 as well.

We took 公車 up to 陽明山 and Jessie went back to her hostel to put her stuff while 綠茶 brought us for breakfast at the canteen. We had burgers with hot milk tea, and the meals came with 4 sausages each. So weird, the sausages are actually sweet, rather than salty. Poor Jessie joined us late and had no time for a proper breakfast, so Sie Yen and I gave her sausages, because she likes them too.

When we first reached 文化大學, it wasn't that cold. But on our way to class after breakfast, we passed by a 風口, and whoa, that was cold! Although the cold is really scary, I quite like it, once I got used to it. Well, you don't get such feeling in Singapore.

Interesting thing is, their classroom is actually warm. Here in Singapore, it's damn warm outside, but the lecture theatres are really cold, artificially that is. Once we got into the classroom, I started taking off my scarf, gloves and coat.

That class was some internship-related module, and the students were sharing their internship experiences. They had gotten to 廣電系 internships, which are really interesting (more exciting than 新聞系 maybe, but maybe not, considering it's Taiwan). There were people who worked at 公視 and even 偉忠哥's 金星娛樂! I also want to do my internship at some Taiwanese TV station!

After this class, we met up with Jessie and 凱樂 called saying their FYP supervisor wanted to see them. They started worrying that he might scold them or something. But they also told Sie Yen and me that he looks like Winnie The Pooh. Turns out he really does look like Winnie The Pooh! And he did not scold them or anything. We started talking about what we did, and what we can do when we come to Taiwan a month later.

We left for 綠茶's 體育課 after that. Guess what's her 體育課 about? Snooker! Cool right?! I was looking at NCCU's courses, and they have a great variety too! 跆拳道、柔道、劍道、pilates etc. First time in my life, I feel like taking PE class, voluntarily! Anyway, 綠茶's teacher is freaking funny! She said that he used to make red bean soup and green bean soup for them, and sometimes halfway through class, he will ask them to hurry up so that he can go buy vegetable. Indeed, that day, he said that he wanted to go buy vegetable while there's still fresh stock at the market. He kept talking to us and when he heard that we will be going over again, he asked 綠茶 to let him know then so that he can bring us around.

After 體育課, we met up with Jessie again and went to buy lunch. We brought our lunch for the next class, something like copy editing. It was quite awkward eating my 咖哩蛋包飯 in class while everyone was busy writing some reflections on their last assignment.. Thank goodness the food wasn't too fragrant so I need not worry about distracting other people. I tried eating quietly, but it was still awkward. The teacher spent the lesson commenting on the assignments done by the students, and the class was really noisy beyond her control. I tried copying the things she wrote on the board. It was in traditional Chinese, so I rewrote in simplified Chinese. I shall learn to write traditional Chinese! Or at least, some commonly used words.

We went up to Jessie's hostel. I hope our hostel is different; I need more personal space! I thought I cannot live without a living room, but I survived NTU hostel, so I hope I will adapt to the NCCU hostel! Most importantly, if I don't manage to get the same room as Jing Ting and Sie Yen, I hope I get nice roomies!

In order to avoid the after-school crowd, we went further up the mountain and took the bus to the 陽明山 terminal, so that we can board the empty bus down to Shihlin. True enough, the bus went a few stops from the terminal and became so packed! It was a horrible journey back down because it was really stuffy.

We went to 西門町 for 麻辣火鍋 dinner. Woo-hoo! This 麻辣 is really powerful and I only used it to cook the food and not drink the soup. The chili oil is too scary! But it was shiok! I love 麻辣鴨血. It's actually the first time I tried and I really liked the 口感. I like all the 菇類 in the 麻辣 pot too! What a perfect match! Anyway, we just ate and ate and ate and talked. Best of all, for all the good food and nice ambience, the meal only cost NTD399 each, about SGD17!

We went shopping around the area after dinner because Sie Yen wanted to buy a pair of shoes to replace her spoiled pair, but we ended up buying caps. I bought a wallet too. But Jing Ting told me that I could get similar items here in Singapore at a lower price. Never mind, as Sie Yet puts it, it's for the 紀念價值!

We met 凱樂 and friends at 紅樓 after that and had a little drink. I don't usually drink, but I quite like drinking. I don't drink much, usually one glass, unless it's class gathering. That night I had apple martini. It was ok initially, but when we were leaving, we realized how red my cheeks were. No, I'm not drunk, don't worry. They say it's because I've got good blood circulation. Glad to know that. =) This topic on drinking, I shall blog about it again.

Ok, time to go back and pack for our return. =(
